Continious Liquid 3D Printing

Not only is this new printing technology anywhere from 25 to 100 times faster than current 3D Printing methods but the process manages to be simultaneously beautiful and grotesque. Like something H.R. Giger would dream up.

Now people can print Darth Vadar and self bust portraits faster than ever before. One day 3D printers will print in full color and then we can FINALLY move on to printing something _actually_ worth printing: cute wookies and Boba Fett.

Hehehe, though your comment is a bit tongue in cheek it does hit upon how frivolous most 3D printing applications currently are (Not everything though). Once we move beyond plastics in a meaningful way this stuff is going to take the world by storm. Much like electricity in the era before streetlights, we are still in the novelty phase.
